ILLUSTRATED NOVEL

Lettres kazakhes

of Guillaume Reynard (illustrations) & Jean-Claude Taki (text)

Publication date 2007 octobre 26

Lettres kazakhes is a short illustrated novel. Written by young ladies, these letters are all sented to Guillaume, a young Frenchman back in France after a long stay in Kazakhstan.

Through the humor, the hopes, the feelings delicately sprinkled throughout these letters and drawings, is outlined a rich, differentiating and subtle picture of a very rarely known country.

Guillaume Reynard is one of the most original and promising illustrators of his generation.

Jean-Claude Taki is a film director (documentaries and fictions), a sound engineer, a scriptwriter and a writer. His films received numerous international prizes.
